who share this great house with us.
MAYThe ability to be present in each moment is nothing more and nothing less than the ability to accept the vulnerability, discomfort, and anxiety of everyday life.JUNEEven though our society doesn't emphasize it, the most crucial use of knowledge and education is to understand the importance of more wholesome action and disciplining the mind-essentially the development of a good heart.JULYIn the same way that protecting a lamp from the wind allows the flame to burn without flickering, endeavor enables the virtuous mind to grow undisturbed.AUGUSTWhat is endeavor? It is finding joy in doing what is good.SEPTEMBEROnce you believe in the relationship between actions and their effects, whether there is an external policeman or not, you will always be alert and examine yourself.OCTOBERThe most important quality to have toward your day is gratitude for what you have experienced, even for what was hard and what allowed you to learn and grow.NOVEMBERWhat's past is past, ... But the future can be different if we choose to make it so. We have to cultivate a vision of a happier, more peaceful future and make the effort now to bring it about.
