Feel Better, Be Better, Get to Yes!
14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States - Section 3
"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof..."
Defund the GOP - or Maybe Just the TLC
(Trump's Loonies & Crazies)
Just as a cyberattack exposes vulnerabilities in software and systems, an attack on democracy exposes vulnerabilities in our constitution and system of government. When lying and cheating are ignored, and insidiously become enshrined as “American values”, a venal, amoral, egomaniacal, psychotic windbag who admires foreign dictators more than any of his countrymen, and who spouts dangerous propaganda without compunction, can reach the highest office in the land. It can happen here. It did, in 2016. In Trump's Bizarro Fantasy World, down is Up, bad is Good, lying is Truth, losing is Winning, crime Does Pay, and "Make America Great Again" means: "Turn the USA into Afghanistan", a land of warring tribes and festering corruption.

Wake Up People - This is America - Not Afghanistan
"E Pluribus Unum" - Out of Many, One
Not "E Pluribus Nihil" - Out of Many, Nothing

Trump reminds us that people are willing to fight each other.  What we need are people who are willing to listen to each other, and who are willing to make compromises while fighting for the good of the country.
Looking around the world it seems that many people choose entropy and chaos in place of a just society.  Why ? Because it is so much easier to blame your troubles on someone or something else instead of patiently fitting the puzzle pieces together to find where we may have gone wrong and then to build something lasting.  This path takes effort and commitment and forces us to look critically at our own choices. Hard ? Yes!
It all comes down to individual responsibility.

In the words of Amanda Gorman: "For there is always light, if only we are brave enough to see it, If only we are brave enough to be it."
